IMMIGRATION AND ICE
IMMIGRATION AND ICE
Our immigration laws are 40 years old and they do need to be revised. That doesn't mean the government should be sweeping communities, illegally entering citizens' homes, or executing citizens on the streets.
Let's be honest about what is happening in our country:
IMMIGRATION AND ICE
Our immigration laws are 40 years old and they do need to be revised. That doesn't mean the government should be sweeping communities, illegally entering citizens' homes, or executing citizens on the streets.
cost of living and tariffs
A single, angry, vindictive individual has no business levying tariffs.
FIREARM SAFETY
healthcare: MEDICARE and medicaid/veterans healthcare
No cuts to Medicaid, no vouchers for Medicare,
EQUAL RIGHTS
I will continue to stand for equal rights under the law, because equality should never expire.
social security
Social Security and Medicare are two of the most important promises our country has ever made — and I’m running to make sure those promises are kept.
Immigration and the government
Trump's immigration policy is about power without accountability - and that is not who we are.
If undocumented immigrants' tax records are being used to track and seize them, then this was never about their paying taxes.
If enforcement shows up at immigrants' workplaces, then this was never about them not working.
If agents wait for immigrants outside courthouses, then this was never about immigrants being here illegally.
If women and children are being detained, then this was never about targeting violent criminals or drug dealers.
If due process is denied, then this was never about defending the Constitution.
If people who are here legally are held in camps or cages here in America, then this was never about border security.
And if billions of taxpayer dollars are being spent to do all of the above, then this was never about the economy.
WITTMAN AND VIRGINIA'S FARMERS
WHAT WITTMAN HAS DONE TO HARM VIRGINIA FARMERS
Backed Trump tariffs that triggered retaliation and slashed crop
exports.
Failed to support efforts to rein in or require approval of
damaging tariffs.
Supported policies that destabilized farm markets and lowered
commodity prices.
Allowed cuts to federal farm purchasing programs worth billions.
Relied on late, uncertain subsidy payments instead of fixing
trade policy.
Voted for healthcare changes that raised premiums and medical
debt for farm families.
Supported the “One Big Beautiful Bill” cuts to Medicaid,
threatening rural hospitals and clinics.
Backed Affordable Health Care subsidy repayment rules that
punish farmers for profitable years.
Failed to protect the migrant labor system many farms depend
on.
Supported policies that increased economic instability and
uncertainty.
Did not oppose funding freezes affecting rural childcare and
family programs.
Took no meaningful action to control rising input, insurance, and
supply costs.
Offered rhetoric and photo ops instead of structural solutions.
